About Kingsferry Capital

We employ a value-driven philosophy with a focus on margin of safety.

Kingsferry Capital Management Group Limited and its affiliates manage portfolio funds with global mandates to invest in undervalued securities with strong potential for fair value realization and long-term growth.

01 The Firm

Consistent, superior returns — with downside protection at the core.

We are committed to generating consistent superior returns for investors while focusing on margin of safety to minimize downside risks. Our mandates are global; our discipline is singular: buy undervalued securities where fair value realization and long-term growth are strongly probable.

Founded in 2016, Kingsferry Capital approaches every position as a long-term business owner rather than a short-term trader — and is prepared to engage actively with portfolio companies when shareholder value is at stake.

03 Investment Philosophy
i.

Global long-only equity

We seek investment opportunities globally, leaving no stones unturned. As contrarian investors, we believe geopolitical and regional conflicts that drive share prices to irrational levels can create attractive windows of opportunity, and a global portfolio lowers correlation, reducing overall risk. We are long-only because prices, in the long run, move according to fundamentals — short-selling introduces timing, squeeze, and regulatory risks that are difficult to mitigate. And we invest in equities because they will outperform any other asset class in the long run, in a more level playing field with higher liquidity.

ii.

Ultra-selective

We focus only on the highest quality businesses — those whose competitive advantages are difficult to replicate, that can sustain a high return on invested capital, do not depend on excessive leverage to generate returns, are led by exemplary managers who are resilient to changing environments, and whose valuation is attractive. Because of our ultra-selective approach, we typically hold a concentrated portfolio.

iii.

Capital preservation

We put great emphasis on margin of safety and the balancing of our positions to limit vulnerability to downside risks. The goal is to preserve investors' capital while maximizing risk-adjusted returns.

iv.

Minimal leverage

A minimal leverage approach provides stronger holding power and the ability to take advantage of long-term opportunities without the risk of forced liquidation at times of market pessimism or as a result of short-term fluctuations. We only seek to utilize leverage in special cases where a strong margin of safety is present. For most of the time, our funds are not leveraged.
